Fly Press Offset Jig Metalwork September 2016

The tapered washer trial, to ensure that all bolt heads were flush on the elaborate and multi angled metalwork, has been changed in favour of the use of an off set jig mounted on a fly press.  Though this means that each hole has to be hand pressed, it is accurate and working well.  This setting up has been very time consuming but it is worth a reminder that once all this is in place, the wing is sealed with the planking and there is not returning to these parts!
